I support Senator Clinton Not because I trust
her or any politician.
I have no reason to trust any of them.
Certainly NONE of them share ALL my views.

But I do believe in her experience, her tenacity and
intelligence.

When was the last time you heard about the government
talking about a "surplus ?"

Was it a good Presidency for the People... Yes it was.
Cuz Bill was stupid and got a BJ, didn't mean people were
losing their homes or jobs.

So if you want to look at the bad fine, by that token
you have to look at the good.


Was Iraq a bad Idea, yeah we're all pretty much agreed
on that. Did Clinton vote yes on Iraq back then when
emotions were running high about 9-11 ...yeah.

Remember how everyone said Reagan was a War monger
and would start WW3 ? Well even that nut didn't do that.

Did Most in the Senate "stand" with the President in
a show of Solidarity and in a "SHOW" of support so we
would not look weak after 9-11...yeah I think so.

Did the Senators (any of them) think that this
bastard would do what he did, when even azzhole
Reagan had more sense?...No, I don't.

Senator Clinton has been strong and consistent with
her belief in "diplomacy thru strength" to AVOID war.

Clinton tried to get Universal health care for
people when she didn't have to. She didn't have
to go and fight with anybody, it wasn't going to
make her a dime. And when Congress basically "gasped"
and said "what? people more important than profit"??
They shot her azz down.

Senator Clinton AT EVERY TURN has done the best for
the people NOT big business.

Was NAFTA good then, YES
Is it good now, NO

Whats the difference.... Economics 101.
In a good economy you want free trade in a bad one,
you DON'T.

Clinton Economy=Good
Bush Economy=Bad

Clinton-

Senator Clinton, walking in with the most to lose due to her lead and due to that she flubbed the last debate, walked in fairly confidently considering the pressure of a back to back lose, which could have cost her dearly. Her early "Asbestos" quip was a gamble. If she did well, it would indeed be a "ha ha" which would reinforce her lead and initial confidence. If she flubbed again, her own quip would have flung her into Gravel status.
Clinton did not have the best line of the night but she had the most:
"I'm not being attacked because I'm a Woman, I'm being attacked because I'm ahead."
"I'm not playing the gender Card I'm trying to play the winning card."
Slapping down Edwards with "Slinging mud right out of the Republican playbook."
(From which Edwards never recovered)
"NAFTA did not do as it was hoped." Ok, Lame. But she said it.
On Kyl-Lieberman Clinton said EXACTLY what I stated in my post a few days ago.
"Aggressive diplomacy thru strength"

Kucinich-

I Knew this guy was good. He got the most memorable line of the night of course. "Because I read it"
Referring to the Patriot act of course.
Then he proceeded to "slam" Edwards with the China trade deal "take responsibility,as a trial lawyer you knew better." Edwards was down for the count after this. (if he got a "slap" before, this was the KO)
He pulled no punches and stated his positions clearly. He did not seem all to happy up there either.
Which, strangely, gave him even more credibility by looking disgusted with the other candidates.
The only candidate who would not vote for the Dem nominee "Unless they would not use war as a policy"
This guy couldn't have had a better night. NO UFO'S.

Biden-

This is the Guy that also came on cheerful, jovial, not a care in the world.
Why?? Because he had NOTHING to lose.
And he was total "Joe"
Along with the easy going mode he was in, he spoke with authority due to his experience.
This guy knew what he was talking about. And the only one who calmly, as-a-matter-of-factly countered Kucinich on the damage of the Patriot Act, like he was saying "good morning."
Leaving me with the feeling of "Presidential."

Dodd-

Dodd laid out what Dem's need to do to win the White House, and keep the House and Senate.
Effective on Unity. With the time he did get he spoke very well and very well in Spanish. While it was impressive, somehow it just wasn't the big bang.
He spoke with Authority but also with anger. Although I'm not sure at what. Is it just the way he speaks??
He was effective. Anyone remember him today??

Richardson-

"My name is Bill Richardson" ---Did the trick !! Ingratiating and approachable.
He was strong on education.
He was for DL "for" illegal's.
And was "for" Hero cards for Veterans. Which left me wondering about everyone else. That's a lot of people to leave out.
Environment, yada, yada, ....Gore.
Reminded me of Gore. Plus or minus? up to you!!

Obama-
Next is Obama, which has only moved up because Edwards moved down.
This was the biggest surprise for both supporters and critics alike.
If anyone "lost" the debate this is it.
Coming in with the loudest applause, Senator Obama was one of the two boo-ed for going negative on Clinton. (uh-oh Iowa)
The attempt was there. It just didn't come thru. Hemming and hawing, all the things he was accusing of, but not being accused of, until now.
The only effective point he made was on the China trade policy. " Why isn't the U.S. insisting on our inspectors inspecting over in China? Like Japan is."
On social security was a valiant attempt but just did not break the glass ceiling.
Hold on!! When he said he wanted to "build schools in the Middle East" I fell off my chair!
HUH?? Economy bad, Debt up to eyeballs, no oil dividend, a "money pit" war, housing market, 37 million Americans starving! AND he's going to build schools in the Middle East?
For the guys that would love to bring us ....9-11......
9-12....9-13.....9-14----9-15 etc. ????

Was he even there? After he was slapped down with his own "mud"

Ma Dem & Paw Republican

Ma Dem & Paw Republican.

Picture this:

Ma DEM and Paw Republican, are sitting at home one day
and Ma has to go on a trip for a while(1995). Paw's got
the "house" all to himself.

Well he finds he cant handle the "house" all by himself
and invites his friends to come and help him.
They wash the dishes, they mow the lawn, they cook the food,
they make the beds,they wash the car and take care of the kids.
Now after a while Ma DEM gets back from her trip(2007)and she
finds a house full of "friends".
Paw Republican realizes the house is preety full and says
to Ma, "what are we gonna do Ma??"
Ma says "well their your friends arent they"
Paw looks around and says "heck no Ma, I never invited
this many of them, they're just freeloaders!!"
Ma Dem looks around and with a sigh says to Paw " well
I guess they cant stay here we'll have to help em get
a place of there own down the street."
Paw Republican with a look of utter horror says
"Thats your great Idea? You want to HELP these freeloaders
AND have them live down the street??"

Liberal Agenda?

For a very long time I have been hearing about a "Liberal Agenda".
I think it is worth examining, as it rolls off the rightwingers
tongues with a loathing and easy contempt.

What is it ??
If, by "liberal agenda" they mean....

Keeping Social Security viable for those most in need in our
society and those who have already worked a lifetime
contributing to a system geared to regular folks.
Something the "right" wants to "privatize",in other
words eliminate.To insure Government regulation of
"for profit" companies so we don't have rampant corporate
theft and massive exploitation of hard working Americans.
To insure Government regulation of the food industry.
So people wont have to test their own ground beef for
mad cow or Ecoli. To insure Government regulation of
imported goods.So YOU don't have to test for dangerous
lead content. Government regulation is government doing
its job!To ensure that those who have the ability to go
on to higher education do so. To insure Universal health care
for all Citizens.If we can afford a war we can afford health
care for all Americans.When our government tells us that
"Universal Health care for Iraqi's is sound policy, but for
Americans its SOCIALISM, its time for a new government.
If every individual is "entitled" an attorney, whether
or not he/she can afford one, than I believe by virtue of
citizentry alone, EVERY American is "ENTITLED" to
Universal health care.Insurance companies "compassion" for
my illness should not end where their PROFIT/LOSS margins begin.
If my health determines your profit and my illness decides
your loses,than you would want me either... healthy or dead.
That's NOT a very good system for health care.To insure our
nation never invades, attacks or aggrieves any
Sovereign nation(s) that commit no provocation or threat.
Such as Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Iraq.To insure
"equal protection under the law"For all people.
Not just some people but all people.Not just some rights
but all rights.If you fall into the category of Human Being,
you are "entitled" to the same rights as all other
people.Straight people, gay people, black people,
religious people,non-religious people, ALL... people.
Please let us all remember these words;

Anyone who would insinuate that taxing someone $3 million
on an income of $10 million a year, is being "punished"

ditches or working hard. (He may have done so to get there
but lets be clear, once he gets there he is NOT working hard.)
Hard work is many things, it is also hard work to be really
poor with no job. Ask a welfare recipient if its not hard
work trying to make ends meet? Try to figure out how to
pay $1660 worth of expenses on $1100 a month. Gas or electric?
Telephone or cable?Clothes or rent? Food or medicine?
Can't imagine? No, neither can I !
#2 It is NOT punishment to pay your fair share!!
"To those whom much is given, much is expected"
To insure the basic necessities of existence for every citizen.
Food, shelter, health care, disaster relief.
To do any less is not humane, to do more is Private charity.
To rely on private charity alone leads to the following;
Private charity leads to public homelessness.
Private charity breeds demoralization and contempt.
OUR RIGHT TO, OUR ENTITLEMENT TO, THESES THINGS:

These are things that are not for sale and have been paid for
IN FULL by the Americans that came before us.

#7Claim that Universal health care for Iraqis and Israelis is "sound policy" but Universal health care for Americans is... SOCIALISM.

The republican school voucher system is a scam and only an indirect tax cut for the rich !!

HERES how it works.............
The rich guys kid is already in private school ..he gets a VOUCHER.

The regular guy CANT afford to pay $10,000 for private school for each of his kids, he CANT write a check !!!
And so will not be able to use the "Voucher".

So at the end of the year, the rich guy gets to use his "VOUCHER" and he gets all the money he spent on private school reimbursed to him.

BUT where is it "reimbursed" from The public school.

Social Security, Privatization is Elimination

Any Republican that tells you privatization is a GREAT thing, is LYING to you.
They will tell you........

#1 If you privatize " you get to invest your own money

Translation --- YOU dont get to see the money anyway it just get changed hands, from the government, to private wall street investors, who will INVEST it for you.
Who's to say they dont invest it into something like ENRON, than you get even less for retirement, AND...... minus the FEES, the private sector wont invest for you for free !!

#2 PRIVATIZATION means ELIMINATION.

If it REALLY is privatized than it should go to the person. AND if that happens than that means the elimination of social security.

#3 Remember, to republicans you are NOT a person you are either potential PROFIT or you are nothing.
And a government program which is designed to help people, has NO PROFIT in it.

No, social security wont make you a millionaire, but to millions of americans who arent lucky enough to be millionaires its their chance for just a little dignity.Senator Clinton understands that.

Best Choice for America

I have never been so convinced in my life as I have been now that the best choice for America is Senator Hillary Clinton.For myself, the issue is much less Senator Clinton's gender than her experience, integrity, determination, and intelligence.

Senator Clinton's experience is evident and I will not re-post the Senators resume here.

Senator Clinton's integrity has been attacked consistently over the years and the Senator has taken the high road equally as consistent, which to me demonstrates a cool head and a great conviction of her own actions and beliefs.

Senator Clinton's determination in the face of trials and tribulations she has faced has only proven her strength of Character and unyielding perseverance against adversity.

Senator Clinton's Intelligence is also self-evident, a successful attorney, a brilliant first Lady, an advocate for the American people, a wife, a mother, a best selling author, and a faithful public servant as Senator.

When it comes to some of those "trials and tribulations" consider this; First lady Hillary Clinton had the foresight to begin acting on health care some 15 years ago. Had Congress listened to her then, would health care be an issue today, in this election?

As for family values, I can see no one with greater family values than Senator Clinton. The adversity and pain she went through we are all aware of, yet she was able to save her family, not destroy it.

As a Christian she is aware that her religion is based on sacrifice. As we all know, family, sometimes requires our sacrifices. So as a Christian she has walked the walk.

Lastly, as to Senator Clinton's gender, while this is precedent setting, I believe this makes the Senator, the " insider who is an outsider ".

Now that's the making of a great Presidency and a great America.

God Bless Senator Clinton, God Bless America.
